In one short month, mas o menos it would appear there will no longer be any abandoned structures left at the western end of Algodones beach. The two last vacant building left at the beach at Paradiso, the scuba shack from the old club med, which is right next to Bonifacios Cotton Club along with the old club med guard shack at the entrance to the beach parking lot, will now sport a couple of new businesses. From what I understand Lisa from the soggy peso is going to do a little hamburger joint at the guard shack and Jorge from George’s shop below Los Arbolitos is going to put in a Salsa dance bar at the old scuba shack. What that means is that there are officially no more abandoned buildings left on Algodones beach. I don’t know what the two businesses will be called, I guess I should have asked Jorge and Lisa the last time I saw them. You will have to drive up to La Manga Dos now if you want to find anything even remotely resembling an abandoned building now. Man the good old days are gone and just beginning, as a matter of fact these are the good old days!!!!
