Exactly a week ago on the 18th of March I was contacted by Ricardo Lopez a local Guaymas
journalist. He called me and asked me if I had heard about the body that had been found in the estuary earlier that morning. I had not heard anything. Ricardo told me that the death had already been ruled a suicide. That ruling struck me as odd, how many Americans would smuggle a weapon into Mexico just so that they could kill themselves in an estuary in a small tourist town in Mexico. I have my suspicions that Mr. Shirts may not have killed himself. Apparently I am not the only one who does not so easily
believe the initial ruling. Three days ago I was contacted by Mr. Shirts wife Sherry. Sherry sent me these pictures of Terry so I would ask everyone in San Carlos if they could please contact me if they met Terry here in town. He was camping out by the estuary in a 24 foot camper and drove a white Ford F250 circa 1999-2001.
Did anyone run into Terry? He may have been out there for several months camping. If anyone spoke with him could you please contact me, vradice@gmail.com is the email. Tomorrow I have interviews with the Ministerio Publico and the
Comandante. I think it important that we in San Carlos know if this was truly a suicide or could it have been a robbery gone bad?
Thanks for any info anyone might have on this.
