Well it only took the deaths of two people over the last year for someone to finally come to their senses regarding speeding in San Carlos. With the latest late night crash a few weeks ago still fresh in many peoples minds I was pleasantly surprised a few days ago when I unwittingly drove over the tope at full speed, probably around 30 miles an hour. The tope got painted just yesterday and there are now stop signs there as well. As most people know it really only takes one good hit to burn into your long term memory the existence of what they call sleeping policemen in Australia, that being our wonderful beloved tope! It’s great that it was done before the insanity of Easter.
Who ever is responsible should step up to the plate for some congratulations!!
